How to break into a PIN locked iPhone

Anyway the new iPhone Firmware has a very huge bug which allows you to get access to a PIN locked device.
If you wanna try it, just follow this attack vector:

I would have never believed that Apple has these kind of buggy problems. Probably they need a security engineer :) ... and probably they know it.

I just tried this on my iPhone 3g and it didn't work, when I double clicked the home button, it just brought me back to the passcode page or if I did it right away, at the top it was translating emergency call into different languages.

it only works on older iphones

Interesting story as for me. I'd like to read a bit more concerning this topic. Thank you for sharing that information.

I have an older iphone and tried it on mine and it also brought me back to the passcode page. If this ever was a bug, Apple has certainly fixed it and released the fix in an update.
